Lightweight fried foods, like homemade tortilla and potato chips, can float to the top of your fry pot and fry unevenly or only on one side. This nickel-plated wire mesh fry basket press is designed to hold those types of foods under the oil as they fry, for more consistent, even cooking. The nickel-plated steel medium mesh wiring helps keep most food crumbs in the basket, and is designed with a cross-support underneath for greater strength and durability. The green angled handle is a cool-touch coated design that’s easy and comfortable to grip, and won’t transfer heat that could cause burns or discomfort. Because the handle is 11-1/4” long and 9-1/4” high above the surface of the press, your staff also stays safe from hot grease spatters when lowering it into a fry basket. The surface of the fry basket press measures 11" x 4-3/4", and fits Thunder Group SLFB004 and SLFB005 fry baskets as well as many others.
