This South Bend B series commercial double convection oven is an Energy Star compliant high-efficiency stacked oven that gives you more oven space in the same footprint as a single oven. This series features a stainless steel exterior (front, sides and top), and standard-depth ovens that accommodate one full size (18” x 26”) sheet pan per oven rack, left to right, in the oven. Each oven comes with five chrome wire racks that can be configured in multiple arrangements on 11-position rack guides. The porcelain interior has coved corners to make cleaning easier. 

Each double stack convection oven gas burner puts out 40,000 BTU/Hr. for a total of 80,000. The patented “Inshot” high-efficiency, no-clog burners operate with the same concept as a jet engine, and their horizontal flames keep oven profiles lower and safer than other models. Each burner has a single large opening where the air and gas mix to ensure a consistent burn and eliminate the possibility of clogging.

Dependent doors that open a full 180° have an efficient two-stage door sealing system to retain heat, with an integrated door stop to eliminate seal bending or damage. The doors operate with a 304 series stainless steel spring gasket, backed up with a steel rope gasket on both the top and bottom, and have stay-cool handles. Doors have energy-saving, high-efficiency double-paned glass windows that resist grease vapor intrusion between the panels.

Standard controls include electronic ignition, 140°F-500°F temperature range thermostat, fan-speed switch, and indicator lights for “ready” and “heating” modes, which cycles with the burners. A 1/2 hp two-speed fan uses Soft Air mixing zone technology that allows hot air to be mixed with cooler air from the baking chamber to produce tempered air for more even baking and cooking.
