The digital scale has a tough, wipe-clean plastic housing, and a 6" x 6" stainless steel weighing platform that can be removed for cleaning and sanitizing or used as a tray. The portion control scale has piece count, unit and tare functions, and a field calibration feature ensures it's always accurate. The scale comes with an AC adapter and three AAA batteries, and has an auto shut-off after three minutes when in battery mode to conserve battery power.
