Perfect for buffet lines, temporary hot food service station, or off-site catering, the ServeWell 2-well electric steam table is designed to hold hot food at temperatures above 140ºF required by health codes.
The stainless steel restaurant steam table features two sealed, self-insulating, fiber-reinforced resin wells that provide maximum energy efficiency. The wells won’t corrode or rust, and wipe clean easily, preventing scale build-up and extending the unit’s life. Each well has a brass drain valve. The wells accept full size and fractional hotel pans up to 6” deep. For optimal results, 4” deep pans are recommended.
Dome-shaped, cast-in heating elements use up to 25 percent less energy than conventional elements and direct energy into the wells. Heat is thermostatically controlled by capillary tube thermostats that supply power only when needed, and automatically adjust for water temperature and food volume changes to reduce food waste. Controls include a power switch and a low-water indicator light, and all controls have mechanical guards for safety.
The foodservice steam table is constructed of 20-gauge stainless steel top and undershelf, and heavy-duty 16-gauge stainless steel legs (casters are optional). A plate shelf and 8” deep cutting board on the operator side of the unit are standard. A 10-Ft. power cord is mounted on the bottom of the wells.
