Since 1896, Lodge has been making traditional cookware products like this Lodge 10-1/4” cast iron skillet. But old-fashioned it’s not. A special heat-treating process makes this pre-seasoned cast iron skillet a piece of modern cookware, changing the molecular structure of its surface to make it dishwasher safe, and gives it an easy-release finish. Plus, it’s induction ready in addition to being right at home on a gas range or electric stovetop, or in the oven. With a long handle on one side and looped helper handle on the other, both cooks and servers can use two hands to carry it so contents won’t spill. And with a 2-1/4” depth, it’s great for pan-frying hush puppies, or even baking cornbread. It has the great heat-retention of a cast iron pan with modern benefits.
