Thunder Group 7” Stainless Steel Julep Strainer (Thunder Group SLJS031)

Originally designed as a perforated spoon to strain ice from cobblers, smashes, and, well, juleps as someone drank the cocktail from a glass. The stainless steel julep strainer migrated across the bar as sipping straws became more common. A tool no mixologist would be without, this 7" julep strainer has a classic wide, perforated bowl that's perfect as a strainer for mint leaves as well as ice. Mint juleps aren't the only cocktail you can use this strainer for. It also does an excellent job of straining other herbs, and the pulp and seeds of citrus and other fruits. Constructed of stainless steel, this strainer is extremely durable and easy to clean, and it resists corrosion from acidic juices and syrups, and the bowl fits nicely over glass and stainless shakers.
