This is floor standing model that has swivel casters with locking brakes. Simple in design, the Spaceman 6378-C features a 208-230 VAC single-phase electrical connection and produces an output of up to 700 four-ounce serving per hour or roughly twelve four-ounce per minute. It has two refrigerated hoppers that can hold up to 16 quarts of product each. The 6378-C has hopper agitators which will automatically stir the product in each hopper throughout the day, saving operator time and ensuring an even cool consistent product. In addition, this model also comes standard with digital control boards with digital temperature displays, low mix indicator, and stand-by mode to help the operator change flavors, adjust servings, or modify settings with ease for each product hopper. It quickly displays system settings and critical system information. Built-in safety protection automatically protects the motors in the event of cylinder freeze ups, and a high pressure switch prevents compressor overheating.

Notes: The unit is a gravity feed machine it does not have air pumps for the hoppers. The product will flow from the refrigerated product holding hoppers down into the freezing cylinder by gravity and typically has a lower product overrun yield than a machine with an air pump.

Hopper Agitator

The Spaceman 6378-C includes hopper mixing agitators which automatically mixes and agitates the product in the hoppers to improve product consistency, keep it evenly cooled for food safety and prevent ice buildup around the hopper walls. The product must still be mixed prior to pouring into the hopper, but the hopper agitators alleviates the operator having to continuously mix and stir the product over the course of the day.
