The commercial stand-up freezer’s robust self-contained capillary tube refrigeration system uses environmentally friendly R290 hydrocarbon gas. Extra large fan motors and blades circulate air more effectively for faster temperature recovery times and better energy efficiency. The refrigeration system is bottom-mounted, letting the compressor operate more efficiently near the floor where it’s cooler, and the condensing unit is mounted on a slide-out rack accessible from the front of the freezer for easy maintenance and cleaning. The system’s hot gas condensate loop is built into the freezer’s condensate pan, an energy-saving way to evaporate any excess condensate water. An electronic thermostat ensures accurate control and consistent temperature, and an external easy-to-read digital LED display keeps you informed.

Other great features include a built-in heating element around the door frame to eliminate condensation and frost. Magnetic door gaskets provide a tight door seal, and can be removed without tools for easy cleaning. The vaulted, lockable door is self-closing, but will remain open at 90 degrees for loading or unloading, and it’s field-reversible depending on how you want it to open. An optional stainless steel pan slide rack lets you store full sheet pans front to back.
