The Hoshizaki KM-161BAJ is part of Hoshizaki’s slim-line KM Edge series of undercounter commercial ice machines. It can produce up to 125 pounds of ice in 24 hours when operating within a 70-degree ambient room temperature and stores up to 53 lb. of ice in its built-in storage bin.

This commercial ice machine is designed to fit directly under a bar top, counter, or other work surfaces, such as a worktable in a commercial kitchen. Its compact size measures 23-/34” Wide x 24” Deep x 39” High, allowing it to produce and store enough ice for many applications in a compact footprint. It features an air-cooled condenser coil with an air inlet and air outlet in the front of the unit and a front-accessible removable, reusable air filter, making it easy to maintain to keep the condenser coils operating at peak performance.

This KM-161BAJ commercial undercounter ice machine produces Hoshizaki’s crescent-style ice cubes, which measure 1/2" x 1 1/2" x 1 1/8. The crescent ice cube is crystal clear and does not melt as fast as traditional cubes, helping not to water down drinks perfect for use in bars.

Hoshizaki’s H-GUARD Plus, an antimicrobial agent, is designed into the key components of the ice machine in direct contact with the ice to help prevent the growth of bacteria, mold, and other contaminants.
