These general purpose foodservice utility tongs protect your hands from hot food and cooking appliances while protecting food from your hands and possible cross-contamination. Constructed from heavy duty 1.2 mm 18-gauge stainless steel, the channel indentation in the center provides additional strength and resistance to bending. The coil spring operated design keeps them open and at the ready until you gently squeeze them, and the scalloped edges make it easy to grasp, lift, rotate and turn food while cooking or serving.
