The Hoshizaki Steelheart Series R2A-FS commercial upright double-door refrigerator has the maximum amount of storage in the smallest footprint, according to the company. With interior storage space of 50.37 Cu. Ft., this commercial two-door upright stainless fridge not only can be packed with product, but is packed with features, too.
The R2A-FS is constructed of stainless steel on sides, top and front, and features all-stainless steel doors with locks, insulated with 2-3/8” of foamed-in-place polyurethane, and hung on 8-gauge stainless steel hinge plates with welded hinge pins. The doors are self-closing with spring-assist, but stay open past 90 degrees for loading and unloading, and have extruded aluminum flush-mount handles. A stepped design around the perimeter of the inside of the doors protects the magnetic, recessed gaskets, which are easy to remove for cleaning. The cabinet interior also is stainless steel for easy cleaning, and has three adjustable epoxy-coated wire shelves with stainless steel supports, and LED lighting.
The top-mounted refrigeration system uses environmentally friendly R290 refrigerant, and is easily accessible for service. It includes a condenser filter that’s easy to reach from the top of the unit for cleaning. A unique air ducting system directs cold air throughout the cabinet so there are no “hot” spots. Refrigerant flow is controlled with a thermostatic expansion valve, and the system uses a hot gas loop to evaporate any condensate. The heated defrost cycle to eliminate any ice on the epoxy-electrocoated evaporator coil is time-initiated.
The R2A-FS commercial two-door reach-in refrigerator has a temperature range of 31ºF to 52ºF, and has a solid state digital controller to maintain constant setpoint. The controller also has alarms for out-of-range temperatures and high and low voltage, and has an LED temperature display you switch to either Fahrenheit or Celsius.
With ETL Safety (US & C) and ETL Sanitation certification, the Hoshizaki R1A-FS commercial upright double-door refrigerator has a three-year parts and labor warranty on the entire machine, and a five-year warranty on the compressor.
