South Bend Ultimate 6-Burner Restaurant Range w/Oven (South Bend X-4361D)
Southbend SKU: X-4361D
South Bend’s X-4361D is one of the toughest ranges in the industry. The Ultimate series restaurant range with oven is manufactured with an unprecedented fully stainless steel burner box. Higher BTUs on the range top combined with a high-efficiency snap action thermostat in the oven base provide superior performance and consistency for cooking, finishing, holding and baking requirements. The range is constructed with stainless steel front, sides, flue riser, and removable shelf. The 4” front pan rail also is stainless, with closed, welded end caps, and the range stands on 6” adjustable stainless steel legs.
The industrial stove and oven has a six-burner open top with patented one-piece cast iron burners that won’t clog and are guaranteed for life. The range top has a standing pilot to ignite the burners. The six heavy-duty cast iron grates are removable for cleaning, and the rear grates hold up to 14” diameter stock pots. A one-piece crumb and drip tray under the grates slides out to make cleaning easier.
The 45,000 BTU/Hr. space-saver oven has a porcelain-enameled oven cavity with coved corners to facilitate cleaning and enhance airflow for more even cooking. The cavity is large enough for full sheet pans front-to-back or side-to-side. It has two-position rack guides for the chrome wire rack, and is fired by a U-shaped cast iron burner that has battery spark ignition. The front panel is hinged for access to a gas valve for the entire range. The oven door has an ergonomic handle and a quadrant spring for easy closing. The oven has heavy-duty block-type rock wool insulation.
Controls include six simple metal knobs with a red South Bend logo for the range top open burners, and a snap action thermostat that adjusts oven temperature from 175°F to 550°F. The X-4361D comes with a lifetime warranty on the burners and a one-year limited parts and labor warranty on the rest. If you’re considering a commercial gas stove for your restaurant, this tough workhorse from South Bend should be on your list.
